I'm going to publish and see if this video actually uploads.

The first track was thirty yards long. It paralleled the second and third tracks which were north of the first track. There was a stiff low wind out of the north. For the first and second tracks Nimrod seemed to indicate he was on scent, and he would be a couple feet north of the track. He'd indicate LOS (I think) and then get back on track.

My fingers fumbled the video of the second track, so I only had a few uninformative seconds.

In class, Jen pointed out that Nimrod wasn't associating down with an article. He was just downing because I asked him to. I'm working on getting him to pick up the article but this dog, who picks up every discarded bottle, cup cap or straw is strangely reluctant to pick up the article at the end of the track.  I'm doing a lot of "Can you get that?" with him.

Next time we track I'll lay the tracks perpendicular to each other
